King of Pop
Readers, friends, enemies, aliens... Hello
Caught a special on the death of Mr. Michael Jackson, a legend indeed. Jackson changed the face of pop culture as we know it today and it makes me ponder where pop music would be today without his talented influence. No matter what controversial issues you might have with MJ, one cannot deny his dedication to making music something it had never been before. Yes, there have been stories of his involvement with children and there is no excuse. However, MJ missed out on his childhood from the time he was 5 he was sucked into the music world. Therefore I cannot find him at fault for atttemtping to re-live that time, as long as there was no foul play.
In June of 2009, he was pronounced dead following an overdose of prescription medicine. Following the verdict, his personal doctor was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for administering the drug in un-safe quantities. Again this leaves room for controversy and debate, any thoughts?
An idol, a hero, forever remembered as the KING of POP and thats a fact.
For now viewers, take a second, be thankful for what you have reflect on your life and love it, enjoy every minute you have. Don't take it for granted, and most of all, Have fun.. For now, check out this scientist and what he has to say, mind blowing indeed.

Back.. Better than ever
Dearest viewers,
My apologies for the long break. Caught up in the world of Travel.
Back from a week long travel of The Netherlands, and Switzerland, what a blast. Train system is so efficient and easy to use, recommend it to anyone interested in traveling the European land. Learned a fair amount in the very Liberal city of Amsterdam. Red light district, tough to comprehend coming from a country like the US, very hard to grasp. Amsterdam is a beautiful city, canals, good people and excellent atmosphere. You will not go to Amsterdam and be un-entertained that is for sure, hey you can even try the mushrooms they sell in stores, just beware:)
Concluding my 3 day adventure in the Dam, I headed south to the south western side of Switzerland. Switzerland is a absoulutely beautiful country. The train rides were heavily scenic and fantastic, visited the cities of Zurich and Geneve, and traveled through many others, spent the half week in Estavayer le-lac an area of the Fribourg state. Met an old family friend who let me stay at her family hotel and got to get to know some fellow swiss french people, very friendly and warming. Also touched base with a local couch surfer and spent the rest of the week, biking the nature reserve and shoe shoeing the alps! Unbelievable! Concluded at a Swiss hot bath right in the alps, what an experience that was!
My couch surfing experience amongst my travels were two individuals. First was Barry from Amsterdam, he was a very nice guy who was happy to host me and share beers and stories. I only spent a night there but I learned a lot from Barry and a local resident of the famous city. Barry was older than I by many years, and we shared very conflicting views on business practices and sustainable actions, it was nice to hear an opposing side of my arguements.
The second couch surfer was a sweet girl from Sevaz Switzerland who was born in Venezuela and raised in the french part of Switzerland. She is a natural healer who runs her own practice and sees patients regularly. SHe uses natural methods like massage and meditation in order to clean her clients systems. She was a superb host, who made me feel right at home and introduced me to the Swiss French culture. We then took a trek into the alps of the Valais region and what a time that was indeed.
I had two very life changing experiences couch surfing along a life altering trip. I am excited for my future travels and experiences with couch surfing as I look to meet and connect with many others out there. Both the generous hosts helped shape me as my quest for answers continues... Until next time friends.. Stay ontop and always remember. "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes well you just might find, you get what you need!"
Enjoy

Derek Trucks - Shreadtastic
Feelin Jammy today, kickin back with Spotify, a brilliant application indeed. Artist of the day, Derek Trucks. Enjoy shreading the guitar then listen to this guy he is extremely talented and plays a mean slide as well. His career started at the age of 11 and he toured with the Allman Brothers Band at age 13! His uncle Butch, is a founder of the Allman Brothers and eventually Derek became a regular memeber. He formed his band the Derek Trucks Band in 96 where he was able to branch out and take his playing level to the next dimension.
I had the pleasure of seeing trucks at a festival in 98, although only 5 I distinctly remember my dad saying "hey son this kids only 18 and hes got the crowd on his fingertips" He now is in a band with his wife and they perform together in the Tedeschi and Trucks Band. Have a favorite guitarist, or two, or three? Lets hear what you got! The beauty of the guitar is that no two people play the same style, yet they strive for similar goals, make great music too be enjoyed by all. Whether it be for dancing, chilling out, or tripping face guitarists are a vital part of this interconnected universe. They may in fact be messengers of an alternate reality they just don't know it, and they may actually be communicating to humans, the past, present and future. Of what could of, sould have, and will ! Think about it :) Enjoy this Sunday!

Chilax
Calm day today, taking time to ponder. Franz Biberkopf is one intense character, moving along in the book. Look at nature as an equal friend, not a lesser being. That's all for today folks. Stay frosty.

Solar Power
Greetings.. :)
You only need two things in life, eyes and feet, therefore you can see it and go for it. Interesting German book, Berlin Alexanderplatz, The Story of Franz Biberkopf by Alfred Doblin, just began already introduced to a far out character Franz. Fresh out of Prison for something, waiting to find out! Having tough times adjusting to the streets, taken in by a Jew and told stories of crazy things! 30 pages in and already very intense, spooky, and a `leave the reader with a, what the fuck kind of thought` As it is translated it does tend to stray out there a rather mysterious book, tough to explain this one. Solar thermal energy is a topic of discussion for today, tons of opportunity in the field.
Interesting controversial company, 'Desertec' is currently planning to implement a solar thermal plant in the Sahara Desert of Tunisia that has potential to provide 2 Gigawatts of electricity, which will be transfered to power Europe! Check out the video, I can see a bright future, assuming that the company will work together with Tunisia for mutual gains and not become another Shell! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqJPreSAFOM

The ball is rolling with solar thermal, the potential for the US is tremendous, don't miss out :) Enjoy your thursday.

Something Phishy
Cheers Mates,
Brilliant day in Copenhagen today, weather was gorgeous people were buzzin, all around great atmosphere. The question today, is why must society be so judgmental? Express your thoughts. Take time from your day and think about sustainable lifestyles. Turn the water off when not using, recycle, buy local organic food to support the small farmers. "Many small people, who in many small places, do many small things, can alter the face of the world." One of my favorite quotes from the East Side Gallery in Berlin. Friends, do not assume your actions will go unnoticed it is the little things that matter.
Enjoy this video, listen carefully.
